 Chamrousse Ski Resort AlpsThe resort of Val Thorens is a part of the Three valleys ski area with access to 600 km of downhill skiing. Located at the top of the world's biggest ski area. Due to the resort's altitude, skiing can be offered for six months of the year, from November to mid-May.

The resort has an excellent snow record thanks to all levels of skiers. Expert and advanced skiers winter sports can feel the benefits of the area the most popular of the world. Intermediate level skiers have the choice to skiing on 200 runs categorised red or blue. Beginners can enjoy many wide gentle slopes.

Val Thorens has 130 bars and restaurants, swimming pool and a cinema which shows films in English. There is also a toboggan run, the longest in France, and an ice driving, snowmobiling etc. Resort's guests are in general German, Dutch and French. Moreover, there are three official discotheques of which the Dicks Tae Bar and the Baramix are most popular.
