The resort of Chamrousse is located at the end of the Belledonne mountain.
It extends on two levels: Chamrousse 1650 (Recoin) and Chamrousse 1750 (Roche Béranger) linked by the forests tracks and the ski slopes in winter.
The resort was built in the forest, offering an outstanding overview over Grenoble valley.

At 2250 meters high, the Croix de Chamrousse is the highest point.
