Ski facts

Les Arcs is now linked up with neighbouring La Plagne by the new cable car (the Vanoise Express) to form the Paradiski ski area with 425km of slopes.

Beginners: Arc 1800 is the best providing sunny and spacious runs. Then there are some blues facile in Arc 1600.

Intermediates: One of the strengths of ski holidays in Les Arcs is the diversity of choice for intermediate skiers. Most main routes have an easy and a more difficult alternative, it’s ideal.

Experts: The Aiguille Rouge peak offers some excellent blacks with nice steeps located above Arc 2000.

Activities

The resort offers a year round activities: restaurants (if you want you can eat Savoyard dishes and traditional cuisine), wine bars, pubs and nightclubs.
And there is plenty to do after a day of skiin.

Visitors who want a break from skiing can experience:
Discover the baroque art, for example by visiting the village of Hauteville-Gondon and its church, or the church of Valezan.
Experience the cave of glasse: an immense igloo of 120 m of length, 3 m of top, with a big room of 20 m2. 
Walk through the nature reserve of Villaroger (between 1200m and 3650 meters of alititude), here, there are protected animal.

Amenities
Each village is independent and provides selection of shops and service: supermarket, bank, bakeries, chemists, newsagents, post office...

You can try activities like:
snowshoeing, paragliding, snowmobiling, sled dogs, speed riding (combination of paragliding and skiing), ski joëring (combination of equestrianism and skiing).
