Saint Lary Ski Resort PyreneesSaint-Lary Village (830m) is set in the heart of the French Pyrenees, 20km from the Spanish border and offers some of the best skiing in the area.
Conveniently located at the foot of the slopes, nearby Saint Lary 1700 (Pla d’Adet) is one of the highest resorts in the region. It is easily accessible from Saint-Lary Village using the direct Pic Lumière cable car or 12km by road.
At the apex of three valleys it is an ideal centre for enjoying the ski slopes, the surrounding countryside as well as St Lary itself.

Ski facts


The ski area caters for all levels of skiers, with beautiful green and blue pistes, moguls slaloms and a great snow park along with a huge variety of red pistes for intermediates to cruise. Saint-Lary is divided into 3 interlinked ski areas, all within a short distance from Saint-Lary Village and sharing 100km of slopes among superb landscapes:

St-Lary 1700 (Pla d’Adet):

Beginners will love St Lary 1700. The areas pistes are all blue, wide and easy to learn on. Intermediates will find plenty of long cruising reds and some not too testing blacks to improve on.

St-Lary 2400:

Experts will have to look around for challenges, there are some steeps and some off piste (especially from the Soum de Matte at 2370m), and plenty of deep powder.

Après ski




St Lary is the après-ski capital of the central Pyrenees.
The resort features a great selection of bars and nightclubs and there are a wide choice of restaurants.
Visitors can experience the Maison de l'Ours (Bear House) or
Pyrenees National Park House.



Souvenir shops, supermarkets or local shops, bakeries, chemists, newsagents and a post office.


Visitors who want a break from skiing can experience dog sledging, snow mobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, paragliding.
There is also the opportunity to go ice skating, cross-country skiing, winter mountain climbing, ice cascade climbing...

Saint Lary is also a renowned Spa with thermal baths, Sensoria well-being centre and an extraordinary lookalike-canyon where you can take the waters after a hard day's skiing.
